Who we are



Kiran Sahi is the co-founder of Sangam and Labyrinth. He is a designer, trained at the National Institute of Design (NID, Ahmedabad) and is a consultant teaching faculty at  Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology.

Kiran has developed "the Land" into a place for enabling learning. His work at Sangam involves development and delivery of teaching resources and information during our education programmes, education consultancy, designing and executing educational platforms for understanding India, and design of products executed by Labyrinth Studio. He is skilled at contextualizing and explaining India's changing face, its Physical and Human Geography, and its Culture, and he understands well how this relates to teachers and students from the UK.  Kiran facilitates Sangam's projects whilst in the UK through their education consultancy partnership- S E C.






Imo SahiImogen Sahi is the co-founder of Sangam. She is a teacher of Biology and Geography, trained at Exeter then Homerton College Cambridge, UK. Imogen worked as a leading science teacher and teacher in charge of Biology in the Bishop Wand School, Surrey, UK, before moving to India and co-founding Sangam.

Imogens work at Sangam involves communications and co-ordination with the visiting groups and institutions that we work with, teacher training activities, development and delivery of teaching resources and information during our education programmes and CPD courses.

Imogen is an Education Training Consultant for the British Council, delivering courses directly to teachers, and to train other teacher trainers on the topics of global citizenship, internationalism and sustainable partnerships and is a validated master trainer for the connecting classrooms programmes. She is part of an advisory team of education training consultants which is working with the state system in India on school improvement programmes. She mentors schools through the International Schools award, and assesses for the same award. Imogen was selected to work on the contextualisation of the 20th Century Core Skills suite of training materials for the Indian context, which she also delivered to teachers.

Imogen facilitates and manages all of Sangam's projects in India through their UK based education consultancy partnership- S E C.






roshan.jpgRoshan Sahi is an Artist and Educationalist. He studied in Sita School in rural Bengaluru. He studied Art in Santiniketan, West Bengal. He has worked as a consultant Art teacher in different Schools of diverse social backgrounds. Gardening is an important dimension in his work. He has worked in areas of Horticultural therapy and with people of learning disabilities. Co-authored a handbook for Teachers helping teachers teach their class subjects in creative and artistic ways. Presently is a free-lance artist and pedagogist, working for the IFA, and is artist in residence at MAIS.
